"Teaching Youth in Every Truth"
Devon Park Christian School was established in 1978, as a ministry of Devon Park Baptist Church. Our mission is to provide a quality education to our students that will allow them to grow in knowledge and skills in order that they may serve others through their character and leadership.
The Christian School is an extension of the Christian home in training young people in the Christian environment. The school offers classes for students from Kindergarten through grade 12 using the A Beka Christian curriculum that is integrated with the New Brunswick Department of Education programs.
"Devon Park Christian School continues to promote excellence in its curriculum. With a highly qualified staff, this school maintains high ranking in provincial testing and has students do well at post secondary institutions." (Department of Education)

| Storm Procedures Storm calls follow District #18 - when District #18 is closed due to weather, DPCS also closes, it will not be announced separately. When District #18 announces, “delayed opening”, DPCS will open at regular time – 8:45 am. On storm days when school remains open, parents are asked to use their own judgment regarding driving to school. When wondering if schools in district #18 are open or closed due to the weather the following number can be called: 453-5455. Note: If it is a storm day and District #18 happens to not be in school that particular day then and only then will the stations listed below be called. If school is canceled due to problems within the building (eg. Furnace or water problems etc.) an e-mail will be sent out if possible. Parents must keep the school up to date with phone numbers and email addresses (home phone numbers are used). The following 2 radio stations will be called: Joy fm (96.5), CBC (99.5) only if the problem is within the building or if District #18 is not in school on a storm day. For School cancellations you may also check out the District 18 School Cancellation Website. 2010 Teachers' Wish List There are many ways to help DPCS: by supporting our fund raising program, by volunteering time to help teachers, by assisting with extracurricular activities, by praying for the staff and students, etc. But sometimes people want to help the school by providing items that will enhance the educational experience of our students. The teachers, upon the request of some parents, have compiled a list of Big and Small wishes. View list... |
